Elizabeth Ross

I am a 200-hour certified Yoga teacher- Baptiste style , a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). I Started practicing yoga in 2008, when for the first time, I saw the Mind, Body and Spirit Connection. I became one with this style of yoga and wanted so much to share the transformation. It was then I received my teacher training at Bala Vinyasa in 2010. Since obtaining my certification my practice of teaching has grown from classes at my house to teaching twice a week at The Yoga Co Op. On a monthly basis, I teach at Bala Vinyasa to do complimentary classes for students in substance abuse recovery.

Through yoga, I have been on a amazing path of letting go and bringing more awareness into my everyday life. I am learning to create an amazing path and hopefully, living by example for others to be enlightened also.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
